Blocks Off became famous after the development of the “First Officer” Lua script, that was released last year for the IXEG’s 737 as well as for the FlightFactor’s 757 and 767.
This time the script is something slightly different than a virtual first officer, as also the name suggests.
The new product, that is available here for free, basically loads some defined values from the FMC to the MCP and more.
For example it can set the v2 value in the MCP, as well as the QNH, the cruise altitude in the pressurization unit and more such as the Heading and NAV1 and 2.
It’s a simple script that still might help a lot of pilots in a hurry, and can be used to get back to the start of the flight in some seconds.
Blocks Off specified that the script cannot save the state (e.g. ZFW, doors and engine state), but it will be improved through the feedback of the users, who may get in touch and give advices to the developer.
